Students learn about themselves and help educators understand how they see themselves by creating self portraits.
Students are introduced to the ideas of their inner voices and how we seem to have an “inner coach” and an “inner critic”. Ideas to silence the inner critic and positive affirmations are explored.
Students will explore what shapes one’s self image and identity (gender, culture, language, country of origin, socio-economic background, personality, temperament, stereotypes, media, peers, family, life experiences)
After reflecting and brainstorming their own list of healthy ways to promote positive inner wealth, students will create their own Self Care Bingo Cards.
