Mindfulness is being aware of what is happening around us and what is happening inside us. Students benefit from learning how to observe what is happening and how to reflect on how they feel about what is happening.
Providing children with the tools of mindful moments and other mindful methods allows them to self regulate and manage themselves in times of heightened emotion.
