Kindness Mice

Students meet two little mice who hang out in their classroom and leave postcards for the students. The mice offer suggestions for acts of kindness that students can perform for themselves, friends, people at school, family, and in the local community.

• Who works hard at our school and would appreciate a “thank you”?

• How can you show your brother or sister that you appreciate them?

• Write a note to a friend at school that will make them smile today.

• What could you do to help animals that live in your city?

Students can write back to the mice to describe the acts of kindness they have completed. A bulletin board could be set up in the classroom to display postcards and record student activities.
