What is Kindness?

A great idea for an interactive bulletin board. Students fill in sticky notes answering the question “What is Kindness?”

Kindness Calendar

Classes propose acts of kindness. Each act is put on a particular day and students make it their kindness challenge for the day.

This can be combined with the kindness chain idea.

Kindness Chain

Students write down kind acts on a strip of coloured paper when they experience or observe one. Each filled out strip is added to a class kindness chain. This can be done as a school and at the end of a week, class chains can be combined to hang along the halls attempting to cover as much distance as possible.

Tootling Wall

Reporting on kindness and positive acts as opposed to tattling is the purpose of “tootling”. Another great interactive bulletin board.
